More About the Role
The Burson Sport, Brand & Entertainment team works with some of the world’s most ambitious consumer brands, helping them earn attention, build cultural relevance and drive conversation across markets. This role will focus on a leading European fashion retailer, creating content for the brand’s social channels.
The team is united by a belief in the power of culture, creativity and influence to shape how people discover, engage with and talk about brands. Across fashion and retail, lifestyle and technology, and food and drink, the team develops work that is insight-led, locally relevant and capable of travelling across multiple markets.
As an Account Executive (AE) for Social & Content, you are a vital part of our team, developing foundational skills in content, communications and client service. Working closely with and into the Social & Content Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting day-to-day activities, learning industry best practices, and contributing to successful client campaigns. Your role centers on social content creation, community engagement, and leveraging social data to drive performance.

What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day management of social media campaigns and client communications.
- Research social trends, emerging formats and cultural moments to inform content planning.
- Create and edit social content, including copywriting, basic filming and video editing for multiple platforms.
- Assist with the development and delivery of social content calendars and campaign activations.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, capture notes and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Monitor campaign performance, conduct social listening and use analytics tools to generate insights.
- Create visually engaging reports and presentations that communicate campaign results and recommendations.
- Support account administration, project tracking, budget management and new business opportunities.
Experience that Contributes to Success
- Strong understanding of major social platforms, content formats and platform-specific best practices.
- Experience creating social-first content, including copywriting, filming and editing for digital channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Interest in social media trends, internet culture and the broader digital marketing landscape.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in social listening, reporting and interpreting performance data.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams and build positive relationships.
- Proactive, curious and eager to learn, with a willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI tools and platforms.
