Social Content & Creative Lead
About the Company
LUX Media & Production is a fast-growing social media and video production agency specializing in short form content, long form storytelling, and high-end video production.
We work with brands, hospitality groups, events, creators, and global talent to create content that drives attention, engagement, and commercial results. As we've grown, so has our production scope. Today, we produce everything from viral social media campaigns and creator-led content to cinematic brand films, YouTube formats, and documentary-style series.
We're a small but ambitious team with high standards and big plans. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Social Content & Creative Lead to take ownership of the creative output across our client accounts and help drive the next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands modern content, knows how to build winning social media strategies, and has a proven track record of creating content that performs.
The Role
As Social Content & Creative Lead, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction, content strategy, and hands-on content production across multiple client accounts.
This is not a purely strategic or management position. As part of a small and ambitious team, you'll be directly involved in creating the work. You'll develop concepts, plan campaigns, produce and direct shoots, capture social-first content yourself when required, and work closely with our videographers, editors, and social media managers to bring ideas to life.
Our content varies significantly depending on the client, platform, and objective. One day you may be shooting fast-paced, authentic social content on an iPhone because that is what performs best for the concept. Another day you could be directing a larger production using cinema cameras such as the Canon C80. You need to understand when highly produced content is appropriate and when a simpler, native social approach will achieve better results.
We're looking for someone with a strong instinct for what works on social media and, equally importantly, what doesn't. You should understand why certain videos take off, why others fail, and how hooks, concepts, pacing, retention, relatability, shareability, and audience psychology influence performance.
You'll own the ideation process from start to finish, developing concepts, planning campaigns, producing shoots, and ensuring the final content delivers against both creative and commercial objectives.
You should have experience creating high-performing content consistently, including content capable of achieving significant organic reach and viral results across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
This role will play a major part in shaping client strategies, directing productions, and raising the overall creative standard of the agency. It's a hands-on creative leadership position for someone who wants ownership, enjoys getting involved at every stage, and wants to make a genuine impact on both our clients and the future growth of LUX Media & Production.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
