Reporting to: Europe Division Digital Transformation

Colgate is seeking an innovative, passionate, and results-driven Social Strategist to join our Division team. This role is pivotal in driving our social media creative presence, ensuring Colgate remains relevant and engaging across key platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok. You will work cross-functionally with the marketing, commercial, and hub teams to develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy and content framework that aligns with business objectives, elevates our brands, and drives market share in collaboration with our Hubs across Europe.

As part of our team, you will lead social creative innovation to engage and inspire people to live happier, healthier lives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media, culture, and wants to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you will do:

Social Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and drive the Division's social media strategy, with a primary focus on the TikTok platform, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Elevate the social creative framework, velocity, and overall impact of content.
  • Identify emerging social media trends, platforms, and content formats, translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate across teams to unlock new opportunities and implement best-in-class practices to maximize our commercial performance in the social space.
  • Develop and implement full-funnel strategies that seamlessly integrate social media, social commerce, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Manage the content calendar and opportunity spaces across Europe Division social channels.
  • Establish monitoring, analytics, and reporting on performance across European social media, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Lead the strategy for engaging social communities, loyalty programs, and influencer/creator/affiliate partnerships.
  • Utilize social listening to monitor channels for trends, conversations, and sentiment related to our brand, industry, and competitors.
  • Act as the central strategic expert for Division and European Hubs, consulting on best-in-class social execution and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks for rapid cross-market scaling.
  • Own holistic measurement, defining regional KPIs that track social effectiveness and TikTok growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
