Social & Content Lead

We're recruiting for a Social & Content Lead to join a market-leading and growing Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) operator, taking ownership of its organic social media and content approach.

The business has a significant UK presence, currently providing over 10,000 beds across 34 sites, and continues to grow its portfolio. At the heart of the business is the student experience - creating environments where students feel comfortable, supported and part of a community.

With that growth comes an exciting opportunity to evolve how the brand connects with both current and future students.

About the Role

This is a hands-on creative role combining social strategy, content creation, student insight and channel ownership. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how the brand shows up across social, create original content, develop a network of student creators and ensure its content stays relevant as platforms and audience behaviours evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continually develop the organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms
  • Manage the social content calendar, aligning activity with wider marketing, campaign and commercial priorities
  • Create engaging, social-first content including short-form video, photography and interviews
  • Bring student life, properties, cities, events and resident experiences to life through compelling content
  • Identify emerging social trends, formats and conversations and translate them into relevant opportunities
  • Build and develop a network of student content creators, generating a consistent pipeline of authentic UGC
  • Use social listening, audience insight and platform behaviour to inform content and wider marketing activity
  • Work closely with Creative, Digital, Campaigns and operational teams across the business
  • Track content performance and use data to continually optimise activity
  • Explore AI, emerging technology, new platforms and changing approaches to content discovery
  • Regularly visit locations across the UK to capture original content and engage with students

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
