Our mission is to make meaningful learning a part of your everyday 🧠. The shelf life of our skills is now less than 5 years. So, if you stopped learning today, your skills would soon be irrelevant. Think that’s a big problem? You’d be right.

Enter HowNow. Founded in 2019, our Learning and Skills Platform is disrupting the way people learn and upskill through technology. Whether it's finding a quick answer, learning skills or tapping into shared knowledge, we make it easy for people to learn what they need, when they need it.

Already used by fast-growing scale-ups and global enterprises, such as Trainline, Depop and Sanofi, we’re pushing the boundaries of how people learn.

Hi, I'm Duncan, Head of GTM at HowNow 👋🏾. I'm hiring a Social Content Producer. It's a genuinely exciting time to be here: we've just been recognised on the 2026 Fosway 9-Grid for Learning Systems; we shipped Guru (our AI workplace coach), and it's already live with customers; and we're now working with brands like Trainline, TomTom, Investec, Depop across more than 30 countries.

Alongside the opportunities to develop and grow your career, we're a fun and friendly bunch.

The role

This isn't a traditional B2B content role. We're looking for a maker.

Someone who can spot an interesting idea, figure out how to tell it, pick up a camera, shoot it, edit it, design around it, and turn it into something people actually want to watch.

Our audience is smart, busy, and has seen every “future of work” post going. They don't need more polished corporate content. They stop for things that are useful, surprising, or honest.

You'll create for LinkedIn first (it's where our buyers and community live), plus Instagram and YouTube, including:

  • Short-form social and founder-led video
  • Product stories, demos and launches
  • The L&D Disrupt podcast: clips, interviews and guest moments
  • YouTube and longer-form video
  • Carousels, graphics and social visuals
  • Motion graphics and animations
  • Event and reactive content
  • New formats we haven't thought of yet

Sometimes it'll be beautifully produced. Sometimes the right answer will be an iPhone, a great idea, and 30 minutes.

Knowing the difference is part of the job.

Day-to-day tasks will include 📩

  • Find the story. Work with our founder, product and go-to-market (GTM) teams to turn rough ideas, conversations, new products, customer wins, and what's happening in AI and work into great creative.
  • Shoot. Founder content, podcasts, interviews, events, and whatever else the idea needs. You'll understand framing, lighting, and sound without needing a production crew.
  • Edit. This should be one of your superpowers. You understand hooks, pacing, cuts, captions, sound, and what makes someone keep watching.
  • Design. Create great-looking carousels, graphics, thumbnails, product visuals, and other social content. Work within our brand and help it evolve as needed.
  • Make our products interesting. Don't give us another “5 new features” video. Whether it's Guru, our AI agent, or something the team shipped last week, find the product moment that makes someone think, “Wait. How did it do that?”
  • Build formats people recognise. Help us develop recurring series, visual styles, and creative formats that become recognisably HowNow.
  • Test, measure, learn. Try things, see what lands, and double down. You'll own the numbers for what you make (reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth) and use them to decide what we make next.
  • Shape the strategy. Bring ideas, not just execution. Stay close to how LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube are changing, and help decide where and how we show up.
  • Make great organic work harder. Turn our best-performing organic content into ad-ready versions for paid social.
  • Keep the engine running. Juggle several projects at once and ship on a steady weekly rhythm without letting quality slip.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The key things that we will be looking for in applicants 🔑

Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. We'd rather see what you can make.

  • You can take an idea from concept to finished piece yourself
  • You're excellent at shooting and editing video in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar, with After Effects or similar for motion
  • You have strong visual and design skills, and you're at home in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom or similar (plus Figma and Canva when speed matters)
  • You use AI tools in your creative workflow and have a view on where they help and where they don't
  • You know what works on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, and why the same idea needs a different cut for each
  • You have a clear point of view on what good looks like. You can name creators and brands you rate, explain why their work lands, and show us how that shows up in your own
  • You connect creative to results. You can tell us which of your pieces performed, why you think they did, and what you changed because of it
  • You're curious about AI, technology, the world of work, and internet culture
  • You move quickly and don't need a perfect brief, and when you do get one, you make it better
  • You enjoy turning half-formed ideas into something brilliant
  • You're comfortable pitching ideas to founders, product and sales, and can take feedback without losing what made the idea good
  • You've spent a good few years making social content, whether in-house, agency-side, or on your own channels. B2B or learning tech experience is a bonus, not a requirement

We care much more about your portfolio and what you can make than your job title, degree, or years spent in B2B SaaS.
