Overview
The Social Content Hub sits within the Scottish Government’s Communications Directorate as part of the Digital & Content Team, but with strong connections and influence across the organisation, providing expert advice, guidance, training and content development in support of our multiple social media channels.
The Social Content Team Leader will oversee our busy and proactive team of Social Media Managers and Visual Content Managers, ensuring that all content is developed to a high standard and in line with all relevant policy, strategy and the Scottish Government’s communications objectives.

They will work closely with the Head of Digital & Content, other senior managers and team leaders, whilst also building strong connections across Scottish Government and beyond, to develop the Social Content Hub’s offer as a centre of excellence and expertise.
This is a specialist post and carries the Communications Pay Supplement of £3,000 per annum pro rata, rising to £5,000 on completion of 12 months’ successful service. This is paid in addition to salary. Pay supplements are temporary and subject to regular reviews.
