Social Creative
Happy Yolk | Full-time | £45,000–£55,000, depending on experience | Hybrid, London
Happy Yolk is a female-founded, social-first creative agency making ideas people want to stop for, share and talk about.
We started with an egg—quite literally. Our founder helped create the World Record Egg, a tiny idea that sparked a very big conversation. That experience taught us a lot about what makes people pay attention, and it still shapes how we think about social today.
Now we bring that curiosity to ambitious brands. We’re based in Shoreditch and work in a hybrid way, with time together in the office and the flexibility to work from home. We’re a close-knit, growing team: serious about the work, generous with ideas and very happy to have a laugh along the way.
The role
Ideas are at the heart of this job. We’re looking for someone who can come up with brilliant social ideas and take them all the way from the first spark to something people can actually watch, share and remember.
That means more than spotting a trend. You’ll find the interesting angle, shape it into a clear and exciting idea, and bring the client along with you. You’ll need to be able to explain why the idea works, present it with confidence and get people excited to make it. Then you’ll help bring it to life with the team—making sure the final content has the same spark as the original idea.
You’ll work across a mix of lovely, ambitious brands. One day you might be pitching a new TikTok series; the next, developing a campaign, writing a script or helping shape a shoot. There’s lots of variety, and plenty of room to put your own ideas on the table.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
