About the Role
We're looking for a curious and culturally plugged-in Social & Cultural Insights Analyst to join a growing creative agency. This is an agency-side role for someone who is fascinated by what people are talking about, how culture is changing and what those shifts mean for brands.
You'll combine social listening, data, research and cultural trends to uncover insights that help shape client strategy, creative ideas and campaigns. You'll work closely with strategists, creatives and account teams, helping turn data and cultural intelligence into clear, actionable thinking for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor social platforms, online communities, media and cultural conversations to identify emerging trends, behaviours and cultural movements
- Use social listening, analytics and research tools to understand audiences, sentiment, conversations and cultural shifts
- Analyse social and consumer data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for clients
- Identify emerging cultural moments and trends that could be relevant to brands and audiences
- Create reports, presentations and dashboards to communicate key findings and recommendations
- Support strategic and creative development through research and insight
- Partner with strategists and creative teams to ensure ideas are culturally relevant and grounded in audience understanding
- Monitor brand and competitor conversations across social and digital channels
- Analyse campaign performance and social/cultural impact, identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Present insights and recommendations clearly to both internal teams and clients
- Stay constantly curious about social media, online communities, consumer behaviour and wider culture

About You
We're interested in candidates with 3+ years' experience across areas such as:
- Social Insights
- Cultural Insights / Cultural Strategy
- Social Listening
- Consumer Insights
- Audience Intelligence
- Social Analytics
- Data & Insights
- Trend Research
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working within an agency, consultancy or similar client-facing environment
- Experience using social listening or analytics platforms such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, NetBase or similar
- A strong understanding of social media and digital culture
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- The ability to turn data and research into clear, compelling insights
- A genuine curiosity about culture, trends, audiences and consumer behaviour
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence working with clients and presenting insight
- The ability to collaborate closely with strategy, creative and account teams
- A balance of analytical and creative thinking

The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced creative agency and work across a range of brands and briefs. You'll have the opportunity to influence client strategy and creative thinking by bringing a strong understanding of social, culture, trends and consumer behaviour to the table.
