Location: Manchester & Remote First

Specifics: Full valid driving licence and ability to drive to locations required. Occasional weekend work for live events and activations, always scheduled in advance.
The Opportunity
Are you a versatile, hands-on visual storyteller who can own the end-to-end filming and editing of short-form video and photography? Open Partners is looking for a Social DoP & Editor - (Videographer) to act as a key creative engine across our digital and social platforms. Sitting within our creative team and reporting to the Creative Senior Partner, you will craft high-impact visual stories that elevate brand identity, maximise audience engagement, and drive performance across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts, and CTV. Balancing fast-turnaround reactive trend content with high-end campaigns, you will capture and edit original content that translates creative vision into measurable client success.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You will blend hands-on production expertise with creative vision to deliver top-tier visual content across platforms:
- End-to-End Visual Delivery: Lead the complete content lifecycle from concept and pre-shoot planning through to lighting, filming, and final post-production.
- Brand & Visual Elevation: Define and maintain a distinctive visual tone across commercial campaigns, brand activations, athlete shoots, and e-commerce product pages.
- Trend Agility: Rapidly capture and publish high-quality reactive content that capitalises on emerging internet culture and viral moments.
- On-Set Talent Direction: Build authentic, compelling performances on set by confidently directing content creators, ambassadors, and elite athletes.
- Workflow Modernisation: Integrate cutting-edge AI creative tools into production to streamline editing processes and expand creative possibilities.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with social, commercial, and studio teams to execute unified, performance-led campaign strategies.

What Success Looks Like in 6 Months
- Seamless Operations: You have established efficient end-to-end production workflows that balance rapid trend response with high-end campaign production.
- Trusted Relationships: You have built strong rapport with key talent and internal teams, becoming a trusted creative lead on set.
- Co-Intelligent Output: You have integrated AI production tools into your routine workflow to enhance ideation and post-production efficiency.
- Performance-Driven Results: Your content consistently outperforms engagement and conversion benchmarks across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and digital platforms.
What You’ll Bring
- End-to-End Production Mastery: Deep expertise in camera technology, studio lighting, audio capture, and multi-format content capture for both video and photography.
- Advanced Post-Production & Motion: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and colour grading software such as DaVinci Resolve.
- Platform & Social Literacy: In-depth knowledge of social algorithms, hook strategies, platform-specific editing, custom subtitles, and native sound design.
- AI & Tech Curiosity: Experience or strong familiarity with leveraging generative AI tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Gemini, ChatGPT, Veo) to optimise creative workflows.
- Talent Coaching & Leadership: A natural ability to direct and put creators, athletes, and brand partners at ease on set.
- Performance Mindset & Standout Portfolio: Sharp artistic intuition combined with an analytical understanding of what drives social conversion, backed by a showreel demonstrating technical skill and visual storytelling.
