About us:

Who is GBM Group I hear you ask? Well, you probably already know who we are, without realising it!

GBM is a social-first creative powerhouse that acts as both a publisher and an agency built for how young audiences actually consume content today: fast, native and culture-led.

We have numerous pages including Great British Memes, That Girl Page, That Student Page and MORE, which across all social channels reach over 500 million every month. The vast majority of our social following also comes from within our home market - the UK.

At GBM, we take pride in what we do and make sure the client's needs are met while considering the needs and wants of our nurtured communities/audiences. All campaigns have a lot of care and attention to detail with nothing going live unless the GBM team are 100% happy with everything.

So to sum it up for ya, we are a young start-up who are chronically online making organic and paid memes and video content for the masses…

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media, digital culture and creating content that people actually want to watch and share.

You’ll work closely with our Social Media & Editorial team, freelance creators and wider GBM team to support the day-to-day running of our social channels. You’ll help source and publish content, keep up with trends, support content creators and contribute ideas across the GBM network.

This is a hands-on role, so no two days will necessarily look the same. One day you could be helping schedule content, the next you could be out on a shoot, finding a reactive trend, helping edit a video or coming up with an idea for one of our pages.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, organised, proactive and genuinely obsessed with social media. You don’t need to know everything already – we’re looking for someone who wants to learn, get stuck in and develop their skills within a fast-growing social media business.

You’ll support the management of pages across the GBM network, helping ensure consistent posting and high-quality output, while gaining experience across content creation, editorial, analytics, shoots and social strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
