I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
A large part of the role will involve project management of global content initiatives, partnering closely with regional cross-functional teams to communicate plans, secure buy-in, and drive the successful adoption and scaling of content across global markets.
This role is for someone who's equal parts creator, strategist, and communicator. You need to move quick, think smart, and know how to navigate a corporate environment without losing your creative edge. A Creative task will form part of the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end content process: ideation, concept approval, self-shooting, editing, and publishing - with full accountability, plus project management
- Act as the creative lead on-site: give feedback, approve concepts, and keep the quality bar high across all formats and channels.
- Be the eyes and ears on trends: monitor what's happening in real time and translate it into relevant content opportunities, fast.
- Keep the team sharp - regularly share updates on new platforms, features, tools, formats, and cultural moments that matter.
- React to live moments: the brand is close to major sports and cultural events, so you'll need to create compelling, timely content under pressure.
- Work directly with the client's team and regional cross-functional stakeholders: attend meetings, present ideas clearly, manage stakeholder expectations, communicate global content plans, secure buy-in, and support successful adoption across markets.
- Juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball - prioritisation and proactivity are non-negotiable here.
- Project manage global content initiatives, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and communication across regional teams to ensure scalable execution.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience — 3+ years in content creation, social media, or a similar creative role. Experience on the brand or client side is a big plus - you already know what it means to work inside a company, not just for one. Previous exposure to project management and cross-functional stakeholder coordination is essential; direct experience scaling global content is not essential.
- Social Native — You don't need to Google how the algorithm works. You understand the behaviour, culture, and mechanics of each platform - TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and whatever comes next - and you adapt content accordingly.
- Creative & Fast — You can come up with a strong idea and execute it quickly. When a cultural moment hits, you're already thinking three formats ahead. Wit, originality, and speed are core to how you work.
- Organised & Autonomous — You manage your own workload without being chased. You're comfortable building your own processes, tracking your projects, and flagging blockers before they become problems. Experience coordinating projects across multiple stakeholders and keeping initiatives on track is highly valued.
- Strong Communicator — You build strong relationships across cross-functional and regional teams, communicate effectively, gain stakeholder buy-in, and confidently present to senior leaders.
- Tech & Tools — Solid self-shooting and editing skills are absolutely crucial for this role, along with being comfortable in content planning tools, and always testing what's new. Bonus if you've worked with or managed an external agency before.
