Social Housing Executive Consultant

Salary: £70,000–£80,000
Location: UK-wide / Remote-first (with some travel)
Working model: Hybrid / flexible (client-site as needed)
Sector focus: Social Housing

We've partnered with a growing consultancy who are hiring a Executive Consultant with strong social housing transformation experience to lead complex client engagements across technology, data, operating model and HMS-related change.

This is a senior, trusted-advisor role for someone who can operate independently on delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with an established advisory team (11 people), support capability development, and help shape how services are delivered.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and orchestrating complex advisory engagements (often multi-workstream) across social housing clients
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (Head of Service / Director / Exec level)
  • Delivering strategic and transformation work such as:
    • IT / Digital / Data strategy
    • Application portfolio & systems reviews (including repairs-focused ecosystems)
    • Repairs and asset management improvement work (including compliance-driven change)
    • Data platform direction-of-travel (e.g., Microsoft Fabric / Databricks — advisory oversight rather than hands-on build)
    • Enterprise architecture, process reviews, and Target Operating Model activity
    • Systems procurement and selection support
  • Supporting team development through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and improving ways of working
  • Contributing to commercial success through strong client delivery and (where appropriate) networking / relationship development

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
