Senior Business Consultant (Social Housing)

Salary: £40,000–£45,000
Location: Home based, UK wide travel when required

We've partnered with a growing consultancy who are hiring a Senior Business Consultant to deliver high-quality consulting engagements across Housing Associations—with a focus on HMS transformation and implementation. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone with exposure to upgrades and implementations of housing products. This person will be collaborative, supportive of team development, and comfortable building strong client relationships.

What you’ll be working on

Projects typically include:

  • HMS / systems procurement & implementation support
  • IT, digital and data strategy work (incl. target operating models, roadmaps)
  • Application portfolio and system reviews (often repairs-focused)
  • Repairs & asset management advisory (regulatory and compliance-driven change)
  • Data platform direction and migrations (e.g., Microsoft Fabric / Databricks—advisory/SME, not hands-on build)
  • Enterprise architecture, process / capability reviews

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
