Social Housing Strategy & Partnerships Lead
Salary: £42,500 per annum
Location: Remote (with some travel to Liverpool & social housing providers required)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 8:45am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday
About End Furniture Poverty
End Furniture Poverty is a campaign and social enterprise initiative dedicated to ending furniture poverty across the UK. We work with housing providers, charities, policymakers and businesses to raise awareness of the issue, share best practice and develop practical solutions that help people create homes.

We are looking for a Social Housing Strategy & Partnerships Lead to work with social landlords across the UK to develop and grow Furnished Tenancy schemes that help tackle furniture poverty and improve outcomes for tenants.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong social housing background to influence the sector, build strategic partnerships and drive innovative solutions that create lasting social impact.
About the Role
As our Social Housing Strategy & Partnerships Lead, you will support housing providers to design, implement and evaluate Furnished Tenancy schemes. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders, from Board members and senior leaders through to operational teams, helping organisations understand the benefits of furniture provision and embedding successful schemes within their organisations.

You'll become a subject matter expert in furnished tenancies, developing guidance and resources, sharing sector best practice and building strong relationships with housing providers across the country.
The role combines strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and social impact measurement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys influencing change and seeing tangible results from their work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting social landlords to establish and expand Furnished Tenancy schemes
- Building relationships with housing associations, local authorities and sector partners
- Delivering presentations and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Supporting the development of business cases and implementation plans
- Creating practical resources and guidance for housing professionals
- Measuring and evaluating the impact of Furnished Tenancy schemes
- Producing case studies, reports and thought leadership content
- Organising housing events, networking opportunities and the Furniture Forum
- Promoting furniture provision as a key strategy for improving tenancy sustainability and reducing furniture poverty
- Building a strong network of housing sector contacts and partners
About You
We're looking for someone who can confidently engage with people at all levels and bring both strategic thinking and practical delivery skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working within social housing, housing policy or tenancy management
- A strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing housing providers
- Experience managing projects and delivering successful outcomes
- The ability to influence stakeholders and gain buy-in for new initiatives
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to measure impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience facilitating events, workshops or sector forums
- A passion for improving outcomes for tenants and communities
- Experience of Furnished Tenancy schemes would be advantageous but is not essential.
