Social Lead - Culture Brand

£55,000 - £65,000 DOE

London

Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office

We're working with a well-known, founder-led cultural media brand looking for a Social Lead to shape how it shows up across social. This is a hybrid strategist-and-builder role, reporting into the Editor in Chief, for someone deeply plugged into culture who can translate editorial into socially native content.

Responsibilities

  • Set and own social channel strategy, understanding the distinct logic of each platform
  • Translate editorial content into distinctive, platform-native social content
  • Write briefs, direct shoots, and where needed, shoot, edit and post content yourself
  • Ideate, pitch and build new content formats rather than waiting for direction
  • Manage day-to-day content output while setting longer-term strategy
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, creative, marketing and partnerships teams across campaigns
  • Stay ahead of cultural trends across media, dining, publishing and events to inform content decisions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
