SOCIAL MARKETING LEAD – PREMIUM STREAMING & ENTERTAINMENT

Location: London, UK – Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Rate: £375–£405 per day PAYE

Contract: Contract opportunity

About the Role

Join a globally recognized technology and entertainment brand behind a major streaming platform featuring award-winning original series, films, sports, and world-class talent.

You’ll own social strategy and creative development for original programming, working across cross-functional title teams to build fandom, cultural conversation, and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end social strategy and creative campaigns across series and films.
  • Develop audience-first social strategies across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Lead campaigns from brief through execution, including content capture and creative development.
  • Drive social innovation across platforms, formats, internet culture, memes and emerging trends.
  • Use social analytics, KPIs and audience insights to optimize campaigns and demonstrate ROI.
  • Act as the social authority within cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Manage internal teams, agencies and external creative partners.
  • Work closely with talent, creators, executive producers and filmmakers.
  • Monitor platform trends, competitor activity and cultural conversation to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality brand messaging and creative across all partners.

  • 7+ years’ experience in social media, entertainment or consumer brand marketing.
  • Proven success delivering high-impact social campaigns across reach, engagement and cultural conversation.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, publishing tools and analytics.
  • Strong creative storytelling skills and a deep understanding of internet culture, memes and zeitgeist content.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with talent, creators, EPs or filmmakers is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
