Job Title: Social Lead/ Social Marketing Lead/Manager
Location: London, SW11 8BZ
Work mode: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
Duration: 3 months contract initially
Summary:
As a part of the broader TV Marketing Organization, our team’s purpose is to build big word of mouth, conversation, fandoms, and love for our brand, titles, sports, and talent. This role owns social strategy and social creative development for TV original programming titles across series and films. You are embedded in cross-functional title teams as the social authority, responsible for developing and driving campaigns that build deep fandoms, earn cultural conversation, and deliver real business impact.

This role builds upon briefs, evolves ideas, and takes full strategic and creative ownership of campaigns from concept through completion. You balance conviction with humility, aren't afraid to lead or follow, and bring a team-first mindset to everything you do.
Responsibilities:
- Own social strategy and creative for drama and world-building series campaigns, developing audience-first frameworks inclusive of target audience definition, social creative direction, and owned, earned, and paid distribution opportunities
- Independently own and lead campaigns through all phases, from brief through execution, bringing strategic and creative ownership at every stage
- Take smart risks and own the hard calls needed to push high-impact work forward
- Drive the launch of key marketing assets across social, ensuring every moment lands with intention and creative excellence
- Develop, concept, adapt, and lead content capture to drive word of mouth and deepen fan connection to TV programming
- Responsible for the full suite of content supporting each title across the totality of the planned social ecosystem, for the full duration of each campaign
- Innovate down to the details: finding novel, inventive, and thoughtful approaches at every level of execution, from platform strategy to individual asset
- Implement complex, highly creative social initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and a clear recommendation on the best course of action
- Use internal and external social analytics to continuously inform strategy and iterate on creativity and innovation
- Develop and report against clear KPIs and success metrics that connect social activity to business goals
- Monitor platform evolution, competitor activity, and cultural conversation, proactively presenting a point of view on optimization and opportunities before being asked
- See around corners: anticipating issues and bringing solutions proactively without being asked
- Serve as the social authority within cross-functional title teams, bringing a sharp, informed social perspective to planning and creative decisions
- Manage social campaign and creative strategy across internal and external creative partners and agencies, guiding, evaluating, and redirecting work with clarity
- Work with marketing teams across the business to educate, integrate, and embed social thinking across all marketing efforts
- Expert communication skills, pitching and building work with conviction and confidence, and humility through cross-functional alignment
- Partner with central client’s teams to ensure alignment with company-wide best practices and policies
- Network with senior internal and external peers across client, talent, EPs, and filmmakers, bringing people together and building relationships that fuel better work
- Embody and reinforce client's values and a "yes, and..." collaborative mindset in all work and interactions
- Foster strong, productive peer relationships and actively contribute to a positive, ambitious team culture
- Contribute to a culture of feedback, seeking input on your own performance and proactively sharing feedback with others with positive intent
- Demonstrate a team-first mindset, prioritizing business goals and collective success over personal recognition
- Ensure brand consistency in marketing, messaging, and creative across all internal and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in social media, entertainment, or big consumer brand marketing, with a strong track record of developing and driving world-class campaigns with big impact across reach, engagement, and cultural conversation
- Fluent in social media best practices. You know what content, creative, and formats work across platforms, have experience in multi-channel distribution, and proactively develop a point of view on platform evolution and optimization
- Strong command of social analytics and publishing tools. You use data and intuition together to make smart content decisions and iterate toward creative and strategic excellence

- A storyteller and creative with a cutting edge understanding of internet culture, meme ecosystems, and zeitgeist content, and the ability to connect that instinct to real ROI
- Clear, effective communicator and strong creative collaborator. You pitch with conviction and clarity, read the room, balance confidence with humility, and bring peers and stakeholders along on the journey
- Highly driven self-starter with an excellent sense of prioritization and the ability to move large amounts of work forward in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Experience working directly with talent, creators, EPs, and filmmakers. You bring the right creative energy and the right level of professionalism and discretion to those relationships
- Adept at taking accountability without having direct control and using influence without authority
- Cross-functionally excellent. You build strong, trusted relationships and work effectively across a highly matrixed marketing organization
- Demonstrates learning agility and embraces change, evolving alongside the organization and the platforms
- Thrives in ambiguity with competing demands and high-stakes deadlines, always with an obsessive focus on the audience experience
Education:
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
