Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Social Media & Account Lead to join our growing team on a freelance/subcontractor basis.

This role will sit between our clients and internal team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management, communication and direction of assigned social media accounts.

You will be responsible for ensuring clients are well managed, feedback is communicated effectively, the internal team is working towards the right objectives, and the content being produced meets the required standard.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day communication with assigned clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients and Dugu Media.
  • Manage and translate client feedback into clear actions for the team.
  • Oversee the SMM and Creative Operations team across assigned accounts.
  • Review content before it is sent to clients for approval.
  • Ensure content aligns with the client's brand, strategy and objectives.
  • Support social media strategy, content ideas and scripting.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure activity is aligned with client KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve social media performance.
  • Support client shoot days where required, including behind-the-scenes and Stories content.
  • Gradually take full ownership of assigned accounts and reduce the need for founder involvement.

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years of professional social media experience, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts for businesses or brands.
  • Proven experience growing business social media accounts.
  • Evidence of tangible results from accounts you've worked on.
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy and content.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.
  • Good creative judgement and understanding of what makes effective social content.
  • Confidence giving direction and feedback to a creative team.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
  • Experience working across different industries is highly desirable.
  • We're more interested in demonstrable ability and results than a specific number of years of experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
