Social Media Analyst

Our client is building a social function where data is more than reporting, it directly shapes creative decisions. As part of an established internal creative hub, you’ll sit at the intersection of analytics, content and social strategy, helping teams understand what audiences respond to and why. You’ll turn platform performance into practical recommendations that improve everything from visual hooks and conversational themes to campaign effectiveness. Working closely with social managers, content creators, video specialists and creative leadership, you’ll have a visible role in influencing the direction of social activity across professional and consumer-facing channels.

The Social Media Analyst will transform social performance data into clear insights and creative recommendations, helping the wider team make smarter decisions and achieve measurable growth.

Role Highlights

  • Monitor and interpret performance across LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram, turning metrics into meaningful business insights.
  • Compare everyday organic content with major campaign activity, announcements and feature launches to identify performance opportunities.
  • Analyse out-of-network reach to uncover topics and conversations attracting new audiences.
  • Translate platform data into practical guidance around creative hooks, themes and audience engagement.
  • Track performance across the marketing funnel, from reach and views through engagement, share of voice and click-through rates.

You Will Need

  • Proven experience in social media analytics, digital media strategy or a highly data-focused research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of native analytics across LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram, plus social listening or data-visualisation platforms.
  • Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex findings into clear, compelling presentations.
  • Understanding of B2B and travel-related KPIs, including the distinction between brand awareness and direct product adoption.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and genuine interest in using data to strengthen creative work.
