Social Media and Content Manager - Creative Agency / Social Impact

Permanent - £50K

We're working with a London-based international creative agency who are global influence experts and work in the world of public affairs, policy, and future trends for a range of clients including global institutions and nation states. They help to shape opinions, build movements, and deliver measurable impact for ambitious organizations, leaders, and campaigns around the world, delivering social media, digital communications, content, and campaigns for clients in the UK and internationally.

They'd love to bring in a new Social Media and Content Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of social media activity across a number of client accounts. Working closely with account, creative, editorial, strategy, and paid media teams you'd manage channels, developing content calendars, writing captions and social copy, publishing content, and managing communities. You will also help develop content ideas, write briefs for creative teams, and advise clients and colleagues on how to improve their social media activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities

You will have experience managing social media channels for an agency, brand, or organization. Experience in public affairs, government, politics, or another issues-led environment would be useful, but not essential. You'll be a strong writer, able to produce clear and engaging content in different tones of voice. You should be comfortable publishing directly to social platforms, briefing creative work, and handling online communities and have strong judgment about what makes effective social content.

This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to manage work from planning through to publication, keep activity moving, and maintain a high standard across everything that goes out.

Other Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, checking, and publishing content across relevant platforms.
  • Developing content ideas around client priorities, campaigns, and current events.
  • Creating and adapting straightforward social content using existing footage, imagery, templates, and brand assets.
  • Writing briefs for designers, video editors, filmmakers, and other creative specialists.
  • Repurposing existing material for use across different social platforms.
  • Monitoring comments, messages, mentions, and relevant online conversations.
  • Contributing to social media plans and campaign recommendations.
  • Reviewing performance and identifying ways to improve future content.
  • Making sure content is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.
  • Identifying emerging opportunities, risks, and issues across client channels.
