Social Media & Content Manager

Dower & Hall Jewellery – Clapham, London

Full-time | Office based

About Dower & Hall

Dower & Hall is an established British jewellery brand based in Clapham, London. Founded in 1990 by jewellery designers Dan Dower and Diane Hall, we are known for distinctive contemporary design, quality craftsmanship and collections designed to be worn and loved for years.

The Role

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Media & Content Manager to join our team in Clapham.

Quite simply, we want someone who can make Dower & Hall look fantastic on social media — and grow our audience while doing it.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for our social media strategy, day-to-day management and growth, with Instagram as our primary focus.

The role includes:

  • Taking ownership of Dower & Hall's social media channels and content calendar
  • Growing our audience, reach and engagement
  • Developing and implementing ideas and strategies to improve our social performance
  • Creating engaging social content, including Reels, Stories, imagery and behind-the-scenes content
  • Bringing fresh creative ideas and energy to the brand
  • Spotting trends, opportunities and new ways to reach and engage our customers
  • Telling the stories behind our jewellery, new collections, craftsmanship and London studio
  • Helping develop creative concepts and content for photoshoots and new collection launches
  • Working closely with our in-house photographer, ecommerce team and external PR agency
  • Making the most of PR coverage, events, collaborations and other brand activity across social
  • Analysing what is working — and what isn't — and adapting our approach accordingly

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will have hands-on experience in social media management and content creation, a strong visual eye and a good understanding of what makes social content perform.

Experience within jewellery, fashion, beauty, luxury or another visually led consumer brand would be particularly relevant.

We are looking for someone who is creative, commercially aware, full of ideas and, importantly, has experience of growing social media accounts rather than simply maintaining them.

How to Apply

Please send your CV, portfolio or your Instagram account or other social profile that best represents your work.

We are particularly interested in seeing examples of content you have personally created.
