Why we want you

As a food bank, we are part of a growing movement taking action to create a fair and compassionate society. We want to end hunger, together. We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Volunteer to help us elevate the voices of our staff, volunteers, and those with lived experience of hardship. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student or someone looking to gain hands on experience in digital communications within the charity sector, or an experienced professional wanting to use their skills to support the local community.

What you will be doing

  • Content Capture: Visiting the warehouse and our foodbank centres to capture authentic photos, videos, and stories that showcase our work in action.
  • Planning: Developing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure a consistent and engaging online presence.
  • Driving Action: Creating posts with clear 'Call to Action' (CTA) messaging to encourage food and financial donations.
  • Community Engagement: Following, resharing, and liking posts from our key audiences to keep our accounts active and relevant.
  • Innovation: Researching new trends and platforms to help us reach more people in the community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
