We’re looking for a Social & Influencer Manager to help shape how George at Asda shows up in culture and connects with millions of customers every day.
This is a key role within our Social team, responsible for developing and delivering social and influencer strategies that build brand awareness, drive engagement and bring our products, campaigns and brand purpose to life.
You’ll be at the heart of our social and influencer activity, working closely with our in-house Studio, Campaign and Content teams, creative agencies, media partners and teams across the wider business. From creating scroll-stopping social content to identifying the next generation of creators and building standout influencer partnerships, you’ll combine creativity, insight and cultural understanding to make Asda famous for doing things differently.
You’ll also be a social and influencer champion across the business — sharing best practice, spotting new opportunities and helping teams understand how we can use social and creators to deliver real brand and commercial impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and deliver Asda’s social and influencer strategies across multiple platforms, using audience insight, data and cultural trends to shape our approach.
- Create and oversee high-quality, relevant and engaging social content that strengthens the Asda brand and drives awareness, reach and engagement.
- Develop influencer and creator partnerships that authentically connect our brands, products and campaigns with our target audiences.
- Lead influencer campaigns end-to-end, from talent identification and briefing through to activation, measurement and optimisation.
- Identify emerging creators, talent, communities, platforms and trends that can help Asda reach new audiences and remain culturally relevant.
- Work closely with Campaign, Content, Studio, PR and Media teams to ensure social and influencer activity is integrated across our wider marketing plans.
- Develop organic and paid social plans, working with media partners to maximise reach, effectiveness and return on investment.
- Build strong relationships with creative agencies, influencer agencies, talent and management teams, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, using insight and data to determine where social and influencer activity can add the greatest value.
- Monitor, analyse and report on social and influencer performance, using KPIs and insight to demonstrate effectiveness and shape future activity.
- Stay ahead of the latest developments across social, creators and digital technology, identifying new opportunities for Asda to innovate.
- Ensure all social and influencer activity is on-brand and compliant with relevant ASA, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage projects and budgets effectively, ensuring activity is delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team, creating an environment where people feel empowered to deliver their best work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
