At Cheerful UK, we are at the forefront of the music industry, working with innovative and exciting artists across a variety of genres. Our mission is to amplify voices, connect artists with their fans, and drive engagement through compelling digital content and influencer partnerships. We are seeking a creative, strategic, and passionate Social Media and Influencer Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team who will also occasionally assist the A&R team in finding and signing exciting artists and producers for us to collaborate with.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Artist Social Media Management

  • Utilising our extensive influencer database, you will help to secure the most effective influencer promotions across all major social media platforms.
  • Using your understanding of social media and emerging channels and trends, you will also help us to increase and expand our databases with micro and macro influencers to ensure our artists are reaching new and existing audiences.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for our artists social channels using Meta Business Suite and other similar platforms.
  • Manage and grow our artist’s social media channels across Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and implement best practices.
  • Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimise results.

Company Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness of our label.
  • Manage and grow our social media channels across Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

Influencer Marketing

  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Develop and implement influencer marketing campaigns that align and resonate with our artists’ target audiences.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with influencers, ensuring clear deliverables and outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of influencer partnerships, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality content.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management and influencer marketing.
  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences and delivering successful influencer campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain multiple relationships at once.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for music and a basic understanding of the music industry.
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to perform basic admin tasks.
