The Social Media Assistant will support PetMonty’s online presence by creating and scheduling content across key social media platforms, engaging with the online community, and helping to grow brand awareness. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting posts, sourcing and organizing visual assets, monitoring comments and messages, and responding in a timely, brand-aligned manner. The role involves assisting with basic social media marketing tasks such as tracking performance metrics, contributing ideas for campaigns, and supporting collaborations with influencers or partners. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in England, United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and platforms.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in Social Media and Social Media Content Creation, including familiarity with major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Understanding of Social Media Marketing principles, such as audience engagement, basic analytics, and campaign support.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid setup in England, United Kingdom, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Genuine interest in pets and pet wellbeing; prior experience in pet, lifestyle, or e-commerce sectors is beneficial.
  • Basic design or content editing skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools) and familiarity with social media scheduling platforms are an advantage.
