Job Title: Social Media Assistant
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Location: London/Hybrid
Working pattern: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: £25K - £28K DoE

About the role
We are looking for a creative, proactive and highly organised Social Media Assistant to support the day-to-day delivery of social media activity across the Group.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience across a global business with multiple brands, services and audiences. You will help us create a stronger, more consistent and more engaging social media presence, with content that better reflects what we do, the sectors we work in and the value we bring to clients.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, supporting content planning, copywriting, content creation, scheduling and content repurposing across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is digitally switched on, full of ideas and keen to build meaningful experience in a fast-moving commercial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and scheduling of social media content across relevant platforms
- Draft post copy aligned to brand tone, audience and business priorities
- Create social assets using Canva and other relevant tools
- Repurpose existing content into carousels, short-form video, graphics and branded posts
- Help maintain content calendars and support a regular posting rhythm
- Monitor social trends, ideas and opportunities relevant to our brands and sectors
- Support wider campaign and brand activity through social content creation
- Help maintain consistency across multiple brands and service lines
- Gather and organise content ideas from across the business where needed

What we're looking for
- A strong interest in social media, content and digital marketing
- Good written communication skills and a feel for engaging content
- Confidence using Canva/Gamma and a willingness to learn quickly
- Creative thinking and an eye for visual presentation
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Good time management and the ability to work across multiple tasks
- An interest in B2B, B2C marketing, recruitment, HR tech or professional services would be an advantage
