We're looking for someone who is passionate about social media, understands what makes content perform and is excited by the opportunity to create content with world-class athletes, influencers and major retail partners. The role reflects a growing trend across leading sports nutrition brands and health and wellness brands toward platform-first, creator-led content and community management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of Applied Nutrition's global social media channels, ensuring all content is published accurately and on time.
- Schedule, publish and optimize content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
- Monitor community engagement, responding to comments and messages where appropriate while escalating customer service queries.
- Stay on top of platform updates, social trends and viral moments, identifying opportunities for the brand to react quickly.
- Capture engaging photo and video content across product launches, athlete shoots, events and behind-the-scenes activity.
- Edit social-first content for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Stories.
- Assist in planning and executing content shoots, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality assets.
- Support the creation of content that drives engagement, awareness and commercial performance across all channels.
- Support the execution of integrated social campaigns across product launches, retail activations, athlete partnerships and brand initiatives.
- Work closely with the wider marketing, design and e-commerce teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Liaise with influencer manager to coordinate content and campaign deliverables for athletes and external partners.
- Track social media performance, producing weekly and monthly reports with key insights and recommendations.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to improve content performance.
- Use platform insights to help optimize future content and support channel growth.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Applied Nutrition's brand guidelines and tone of voice across all platforms.
- Provide support at trade shows, events, athlete appearances and content shoots, including occasional travel where required.
- Contribute new creative ideas, content concepts and platform innovations to help keep Applied Nutrition at the forefront of social media.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of social media marketing experience, preferably in the nutrition or health industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g. Sprout Social, CapCut).
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
