About Us:

TMG (The Malachite Group) is a live entertainment company overseeing a portfolio of global music festivals and event properties such as Afro Nation, Piano People, Afrotronic and more. We curate world-class experiences and deliver unforgettable cultural moments, championing the communities we serve.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organised, culturally tapped-in Social Media Assistant to support the Social Media Lead across our social platforms of global entertainment and lifestyle brands including Afro Nation, Piano People, Afrotronic, LIT Everywhere & more.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands internet culture, moves fast, and wants real exposure to how large-scale brands and festivals are built online. You’ll play a key role in keeping content flowing, trends sharp, and operations seamless across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Content & Copy

  • Write engaging, platform-specific social copy across Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest and YouTube
  • Support caption writing with strong hooks, tone of voice, and clear CTAs
  • Assist in adapting copy across multiple brands with different identities

Trend Research & Reporting

  • Produce a weekly trend report covering TikTok, Instagram Reels, and emerging platforms
  • Identify viral sounds, formats, and cultural moments relevant to our brands
  • Suggest how trends can be adapted into content ideas as well as being initiated
  • Forecast emerging cultural moments before they become mainstream.
  • Monitor platform updates, creator movements and consumer behaviour.
  • Identify opportunities for TMG brands to lead trends rather than follow them.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
