Role Description
The Social Media Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in Ashford. This role involves supporting the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across Okiki’s social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling. The Social Media Assistant will help plan and execute social media campaigns, respond to comments and messages, and monitor online conversations about the brand. Day-to-day tasks include drafting captions, selecting and creating images or short-form videos, tracking performance metrics, and drafting email marketing content using Klaiyo. The role also includes collaborating with the wider team on product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives to enhance visibility and community engagement.

- Strong Social Media and Social Media Marketing skills, including familiarity with major platforms Instagram and TikTok.
- Social Media Content Creation skills, with the ability to develop engaging visuals and copy aligned with brand guidelines.
- Effective Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, compelling messages and interact professionally with online audiences.
- Basic knowledge of content planning tools and an interest in skincare, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
Additional beneficial qualifications include:
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- The ability to work on-site in Ashford on a consistent schedule.
