Vacancy: Social Media & Brand Manager – Maternity Cover (12-month fixed-term contract)
Reporting to: Vice President of Digital Marketing
Department: Marketing & E-Commerce
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Working pattern: Hybrid, minimum 2 days in the office (subject to change)
Location: Victoria, London
Brand and social media play a critical role in how customers discover, experience and engage with Big Bus Tours around the world. We're looking for an experienced Social Media & Brand Manager to cover a maternity leave and lead our global social media strategy across paid and organic channels. Working closely with our social media agency, you'll shape the content strategy, oversee influencer and creator partnerships, and manage the social budget. You'll use performance insights to balance brand building with commercial results across the customer journey.
Alongside social, you'll be the global guardian of the Big Bus Tours brand. You'll make sure our identity is applied consistently across channels and collateral, and you'll provide dotted-line leadership to two global designers. You'll help city teams produce stronger brand-led assets, and you'll manage our trademark agency to protect our intellectual property worldwide.
It's a hands-on senior role that connects our central marketing team, agencies, designers and city teams. It's a great opportunity for a proactive marketer with strong social expertise and excellent creative and brand judgement, who enjoys bringing people together across multiple markets. Character matters to us, but there are a few essentials for this role:
- Extensive social media experience with consumer-facing brands
- Proven experience managing organic and paid social across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
- Strong experience managing external social media or marketing agencies
- Experience working with influencers and content creators, from brief to sign-off
