Social Media Business Director
London / Hybrid
Competitive Salary + Benefits - £75k
We're partnering with an award-winning creative agency that's looking for a Social Media Business Director to lead and evolve its social offering.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and deep social expertise. You'll be responsible for shaping social strategy across a portfolio of major clients, driving business growth, leading senior stakeholder relationships, and developing a high-performing team.
The Opportunity
- Lead the agency's social media vision, strategy, and service offering.
- Act as a senior strategic partner to key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities and revenue growth.
- Oversee integrated campaigns spanning social, content, creative, paid, and analytics.
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and account profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing social team.
- Champion innovation, emerging platforms, and new technologies across the agency.

About You
- Significant agency-side social media experience at Director, Business Director, or senior leadership level.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-channel social campaigns.
- Strong commercial expertise with responsibility for revenue growth, forecasting, and profitability.
- Confident managing senior stakeholders and C-suite client relationships.
- Experienced in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
- Passionate about social innovation, cultural trends, and emerging technology.
