Position: Social Media & Community Associate

Location: London/Hybrid (3-5 days a week in office, regular shoots & events)

Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to extend

Reporting to: Senior Marketing Executive

Salary: £28-32K per annum depending on experience

Overview

Raptor is a youth marketing agency that lives and breathes Gen Z culture. With over a decade’s experience connecting brands with young audiences through creative strategy, insight and authentic community activation, we’re on a mission to become the world’s leading youth marketing agency.

Everything we do has student and youth culture at its heart and is tailored to our clients’ requirements.

Our clients include PepsiCo, Airbnb, Google, Tinder, Deliveroo, Jägermeister, and UNiDAYS. We’re based in East London and deliver work across the UK, Europe, and the US.

We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Associate to join Raptor on an initial six-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be working closely with one of our major consumer brand clients, helping to establish and grow its UK social presence.

This is a culture-first, high-ownership role for someone who thinks like a content strategist and executes like a creator. You’ll help shape what the brand posts, how it shows up, and how it engages with its audience across TikTok and Instagram.

Prerequisites

  • You’ll have a strong understanding of Gen Z and the UK cultural landscape, with a particular interest in areas such as fashion, beauty, wellness, food, lifestyle, and internet culture.
  • You’ll be proactive, creative, and chronically online, with excellent judgement around what feels current, what is becoming overdone, and which trends are worth acting on.
  • You should be comfortable taking ownership, working at pace, and turning ideas into content without needing extensive direction.
  • This is a hands-on role, so you’ll need to be confident filming and editing content, appearing on camera, and engaging directly with an online community.

The Role

As a Social Media & Community Associate, you’ll support the day-to-day management of a leading consumer brand’s UK social channels, predominantly TikTok and Instagram.

  • Combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation - developing ideas, filming and editing short-form video, posting content, responding to the community, and helping to build a consistent social presence.
  • Trusted to identify emerging trends, decide how the brand can participate in them, and create content that feels native to each platform rather than like traditional advertising.
  • Work closely with teams across Raptor and the client business, with expectations to create content from the office, at events, and during cultural moments across the UK.
  • Have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of a major consumer brand’s UK social presence, with the creative freedom to help shape and grow its community at an exciting stage. While this is initially a six-month fixed-term contract, there may also be potential for the role to be extended.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
