Reports to: Marketing Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Applications close: 14th September

We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Executive to join the TruTravels marketing team and help bring the TruTravels brand to life across social, email and community channels.
This is an exciting, hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and knows how to turn an engaged audience into an active travel community.
You’ll play a key role in delivering our organic social strategy across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and lead the creation and publishing of content. You will also manage our online community, execute our CRM strategy and build out email campaigns. You will also focus on performance insights to continually improve what we do.
You’ll be right at the heart of the brand: talking to our audience every day, creating content that inspires people to travel, and making sure every interaction feels unmistakably TruTravels.
If you're creatively driven, love to travel and are keen to learn, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing

Social Media & Content

  • Deliver the organic social media plan across our key platforms, working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to bring our ongoing strategy and commercial priorities to life.
  • Create, film, edit and publish engaging UGC style content that inspires our audience and drives awareness, consideration and action.
  • Develop social content that feels native to each platform while maintaining a consistent and recognisable TruTravels voice.
  • Stay on top of social trends, emerging formats, platform updates, creators and cultural moments, identifying opportunities for the brand to join relevant conversations.
  • Make sure our content isn't just engaging, but has a clear purpose and contributes towards wider commercial objectives.
  • Work closely with the Paid Media Manager on campaign development, video creation and partnership amplification, ensuring organic and paid activity work together effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to source, organise and maximise content captured on tour, turning real traveller experiences into compelling social content.
  • Help build a strong pipeline of fresh, relevant and engaging content across our channels.

Community Management

  • Own the day-to-day management of our online community, ensuring our audience receives quick, helpful and genuinely engaging responses.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, mentions, reshares and other social interactions.
  • Build relationships with our community and make people feel heard, valued and excited to be part of the TruTravels community
  • Engage with our VIP Club and ensure they feel valued.
  • Identify conversations and opportunities that can help increase engagement, consideration and conversion.
  • Proactively grow and activate our online community, encouraging participation and turning followers into advocates.
  • Spot potential commercial opportunities within the community and pass qualified, high-quality leads to the sales team.
  • Help protect and evolve the TruTravels tone of voice, ensuring every interaction feels authentic, consistent and on-brand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
