Location: Park Royal, London (with travel to stores and shoot locations). Generally 4 days in office, Friday working from home.
Salary: £20,000–£25,000 depending on experience
Love TikTok? Always saving trending audios? The person taking pictures of every meal before anyone eats?
We're looking for a Social Media & Content Assistant to join the Lola's marketing team and help bring our brand to life across TikTok, Instagram and beyond.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone at the beginning of their marketing career who is passionate about social media, content creation and storytelling. Whether you're a recent graduate, have built your own social channels or already have some industry experience, we're looking for someone with creativity, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
You'll work directly with our Social Media Manager, gaining hands-on experience across every part of the content creation process, from coming up with ideas and filming content to editing videos, spotting trends and supporting campaigns seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with content shoots across our bakeries, stores, office and on location.
- Filming engaging social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and other platforms.
- Editing short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
- Researching trends, viral formats and social conversations to inspire new content.
- Bringing creative ideas to weekly content planning sessions.
- Helping organise shoots, including products, props and shot lists.
- Writing engaging captions and social copy.
- Supporting the scheduling and publishing of content across our social channels.
- Assisting with community management by responding to comments and messages.
- Supporting influencer gifting and content collaborations when required.
- Helping keep our content calendar organised and up to date.
- Pitching ideas and being willing to experiment with new content formats.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
