Content & Social Media Creator

Location: Hewish, North Somerset / Chelston, Somerset
Schedule: 2 days per week
Salary: £10,400 per year (£26,000 pro rata)
Freelancers welcome to apply

We're looking for a creative, ideas-driven Content & Social Media Creator to join our small marketing team, working across three brands in the motorhome, camping and outdoor leisure space.

We're a modern team in a traditional industry, and we don't want our content to look like everyone else's. We've got motorhomes, outdoor gear, plenty of opinions and, unusually, a team who won't run away when a camera appears. There's a lot to work with. We're looking for someone with great ideas to make the most of it.

We want someone who sees a product, a motorhome, a conversation or a trending sound and thinks: "I could make something out of that."

The role

You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager across That Leisure Shop, Motorhome Holiday Company and the Motorhome Matt podcast.

You'll help us plan, create and deliver content, while also getting involved in wider marketing activity.

Your week could include:

  • Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
  • Coming up with new ideas, finding trending content and trying out recurring formats
  • Shooting and editing Reels, TikToks and Shorts
  • Filming products, motorhomes, our team and behind-the-scenes content
  • Planning and creating UGC content campaigns
  • Creating graphics and everyday marketing assets
  • Managing and scheduling social content
  • Turning our weekly podcast into engaging social content
  • Helping to plan and deliver campaigns across social, email, YouTube and other marketing channels
  • Reviewing what's working and helping us improve

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll have plenty of content opportunities, including motorhomes, camping gear, travel, podcast guests, industry experts and a team who are (mostly) willing to get in front of the camera.

Who we're looking for

We're more interested in what you can create than how many years you've been doing it.

You could be a content creator, junior marketer, social media marketer or an established freelancer looking for a regular two-day commitment alongside your existing clients.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong eye for social-first content
  • Can confidently shoot and edit video for social content
  • Understands what works on Reels and TikTok
  • Enjoys bringing their own ideas as well as working from a brief
  • Enjoys trying trends and experimenting with new formats
  • Can create good-looking everyday graphics
  • Is comfortable directing people on camera
  • Is organised and able to take content from idea to published post
  • Wants to get involved in wider marketing, not just social media
  • Enjoys working collaboratively

Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop or similar is useful, but we're not expecting one person to be an expert in everything.
