About the job
Role:
As a Content Creator, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that showcases SAT JAPAN's vehicles, showroom, brand, and day-to-day operations across social media and digital platforms.
You'll plan, shoot, edit, and publish content designed to attract potential customers, strengthen brand awareness, and support the sales team. From vehicle walkarounds and short-form videos to showroom content, customer-focused material, and promotional campaigns, you'll play an important role in building SAT JAPAN's presence in the UK automotive market.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging photo and video content featuring vehicles, showroom activity, staff, and customer experiences
- Plan and produce short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital channels
- Film professional vehicle walkarounds, feature videos, reels, and promotional content
- Photograph vehicles for social media, marketing campaigns, and online listings
- Edit videos and photographs to a professional standard
- Write clear and engaging captions, descriptions, and promotional copy
- Develop creative content ideas that support sales campaigns and increase customer engagement
- Work closely with the sales team to highlight new arrivals, featured vehicles, promotions, and customer offers
- Maintain a consistent brand image, tone, and visual style across all content
- Manage and organise photo and video files for future marketing use
- Monitor social media trends, automotive content, and competitor activity to identify new content opportunities
- Support the creation of paid advertising and promotional content where required
- Capture showroom events, vehicle arrivals, customer handovers, and other relevant activities
- Ensure content is published accurately and in line with company standards
- Monitor content performance and use engagement data to improve future content
- Participate in planning sessions to develop new marketing and content strategies

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in content creation, social media, photography, videography, digital marketing, or a related role
- Strong ability to create and edit professional photo and video content
- Comfortable appearing behind the camera and directing others during shoots
- Experience using video and photo editing software
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Good written communication skills and ability to create engaging captions and promotional content
- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital tools and social media management platforms
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in the automotive industry and willingness to develop strong vehicle product knowledge
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience creating automotive content
- Experience working within an automotive dealership, showroom, or vehicle-related business
- Experience producing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Knowledge of professional cameras, lighting, microphones, and other content production equipment
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software
- Knowledge of Japanese and imported vehicles
- Understanding of social media analytics and digital advertising
- Experience in automotive photography and vehicle videography

Showroom:
SAT JAPAN's UK Showroom is located in Purfleet-on-Thames, Grays RM20 3NL. The location provides convenient access to London, Essex and surrounding areas, as well as major transport and logistics routes.
Our UK Showroom is an important part of SAT JAPAN's continued expansion in the United Kingdom. The Content Creator will play an important role in showcasing our vehicle stock, showroom, customer experience, and brand across digital and social media platforms.
