Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid (Unpaid) Social Media Content Creator role based in Cambridge. The Social Media Content Creator develops and publishes engaging content across social platforms, including writing posts, crafting visual concepts, and collaborating with designers and producers on film, sound, and event-related assets. The role works closely with the creative and branding teams to ensure consistent messaging, support campaign launches, and adapt content for different platforms and formats. The Social Media Content Creator is expected to stay up to date with social media best practices and emerging tools, including AI-powered content and analytics solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in social media content creation, including writing concise, platform-appropriate copy and collaborating on visual and video assets.
  • Experience planning and managing social media calendars, campaigns, and community interactions across multiple channels.
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics, draw insights, and adjust content strategies to improve reach and engagement.
  • Comfort working with creative teams on branding, film, sound, events, and AI-driven content innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistency in voice and tone.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, on-site agency environment.
  • Familiarity with common social media management and analytics tools; experience with basic photo or video editing is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a creative agency, media, or marketing environment is preferred; relevant education or training in communications, marketing, media, or a related field is beneficial.
