The Role
We're hiring a Social Media Content Creator & Editor to own the day-to-day of HairGym's Instagram, TikTok, and Performance Creative (Meta Ads). You'll shoot, edit, design and post, and you'll be just as comfortable directing from behind the camera as appearing in front of it.
This is a volume role with a test-and-learn mindset: roughly 5 Instagram trial reels a day, a TikTok-native post every day, 5 grid posts a week, and daily stories. You'll also be editing and shooting performance creative for Meta ads.
Need to have a strong visual eye and taste.
What you'll do
- Run our Trial Reels strategy
- Build and evolve our content pillars
- Daily social output
- Re-cut existing footage with new hooks, and run deliberate tests of unproven formats

TikTok
- Create daily posts, made for TikTok first rather than cross-posted
- Build engaged audience on Tiktok
Graphic design
- Design carousels, covers, text overlays and story graphics in line with the HairGym brand
- Keep a consistent visual identity across both platforms with a beautiful on brand feed
Performance content (Meta)
- Work with founders to shoot and iterate ads based on results
- Edit UGC, creator footage, founder footage iinto ads
- Be able to create graphics for Ads.
Social media management
- Plan and keep the content calendar across Instagram and TikTok
- Engage with comments, DMs and our community daily
- Log performance and bring a clear view of what's working and what isn't
What you'll bring
Must have
- A portfolio of short-form video you shot and edited for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Confidence on camera and behind it: filming yourself, directing others, and shooting product
- Fast, sharp editing in CapCut
- Graphic design skills in Canva / Figma
- A strong eye for hooks, trends and native platform style
- Comfort with numbers: you read Instagram Insights and TikTok Studio and act on them
- Organised enough to ship high volume every day without dropping quality
- Proficient in Claude & AI tools to optimise output and workflows
- A genuine interest in fitness & haircare

Nice to have
- Experience making Meta ad creative or editing UGC into ads
