Role Description

The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time/part-time on-site role based in Edinburgh. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to showcase Edinburgh Cashmere’s collections and brand story on our own social media platforms. The Social Media Content Creator will:

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in social media content creation, including photography, short-form video, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for captions, posts, and social campaigns.
  • Knowledge of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest) and current digital trends.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and ability to use insights to refine content strategy.
  • Experience or strong interest in fashion, luxury goods, or lifestyle branding.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage content calendars and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort working on-site in a studio or retail environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Portfolio or examples of previous social media work that demonstrate aesthetic sense and brand alignment.
  • Ability to work remotely
