The Social Media Content Creator is a remote, contract role responsible for planning, producing, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms. On a day-to-day basis, this role develops content calendars, writes captions, designs or coordinates visual assets, and optimizes posts for reach and engagement. The Content Creator collaborates with the strategy and design teams to ensure content reflects each brand’s identity and campaign objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong social media content creation skills, including writing concise, engaging copy and collaborating on visual assets for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Experience with social media strategy and planning, including content calendars, campaign coordination, and alignment with broader brand and marketing objectives.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics, use insights to optimize content, and stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency with social media and design tools (e.g., graphic design or video editing software) and comfort working in a digital, remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects concurrently.
- Previous experience in content creation, social media marketing, or digital marketing; experience in branding or creative agencies is an advantage.
- Relevant education in marketing, communications, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
