Content Creator – Newport-Based
25 hours per week | Newport | Flexible working
Are you the kind of person who is constantly thinking, “That would make a great video”? We’re looking for a creative, confident and energetic Content Creator to take ownership of social media content from idea to publication.
Based in Newport, this is a hands-on role for someone who wants to get out and about, find interesting stories, film real projects, talk to people and create content that makes people stop scrolling.
You won’t be sitting at a desk waiting to be told what to post. We’re looking for someone who can spot opportunities, come up with ideas and turn them into engaging content.
The Role
You’ll create regular content across:
- TikTok
- YouTube
You’ll adapt content for each platform rather than simply posting the same thing everywhere.
Your week could involve visiting projects around Newport and the surrounding area, filming short-form videos, interviewing people, capturing behind-the-scenes footage, photographing projects and editing content ready for publication.
You’ll also be responsible for developing new content ideas, writing captions and hooks, keeping up with social trends and reviewing performance to understand what works.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
