Role Description

The Social Media Content Creator is a part-time, hybrid role based in Boston, with flexibility to work both on-site and from home. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

The Social Media Content Creator will monitor comments and messages, support community engagement, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to align content with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role also involves tracking basic performance metrics, staying up to date on social media trends, and suggesting new content ideas that highlight Dorina Food Group’s products, values, and brand story.

Qualifications

  • Strong social media content creation skills, including writing clear and engaging captions, basic photo and video production, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Experience developing and managing content calendars, planning campaigns, and aligning social content with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics, identify trends, and use insights to adjust content strategies and improve performance.
  • Comfort interacting with online communities, responding to comments and messages professionally, and representing the brand voice consistently.
  • General understanding of digital marketing principles, brand storytelling, and food or consumer packaged goods marketing is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with common social media tools and basic editing software (e.g., Canva, mobile video editing apps, or similar tools).
  • Strong written communication skills in English, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Prior experience in social media, content creation, or marketing (professional, freelance, or internship) is an advantage.
  • Availability to work part time in a hybrid arrangement in Boston and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
