Social Media Content Creator | MOVER™ / GOBIG Group

Contract role | Monthly retainer | Midlands based | Hybrid

About MOVER™

MOVER™ | Precision Container Movers, powered by GOBIG Site Services, specialises in the safe movement and precision positioning of shipping containers, modular buildings and other heavy assets across the UK.

We work in the places where traditional methods often struggle. Tight access, restricted sites, uneven ground, overhead obstacles and awkward positioning jobs are very much our thing.

Using specialist machinery and experienced operators, MOVER™ has built a niche reputation for solving difficult movement challenges safely, accurately and efficiently.

We’re a small, down-to-earth, creative and ambitious team, and the business is growing quickly.

We’re now looking for someone who can help us properly show people what we do.

The role

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator who can take our social content and run with it.

You’ll work closely with our Brand Lead and Founder, who will provide the overall strategy, brand direction and creative guidance, but we want someone confident enough to take that direction and run with it.

We’re looking for someone who brings ideas to the table, spots opportunities for content and can take real ownership of how MOVER™ and the wider GOBIG brands show up on social.

A big part of the role will be getting out with the MOVER™ team and capturing real jobs, machinery, people and behind-the-scenes moments.

There is a huge amount of naturally visual content within the business. One day might involve a difficult container movement on a construction site, another a tight-access cabin relocation, a new piece of machinery, a customer story or simply showing the people behind the operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll be turning that into content people actually want to watch.

Think:

  • Short-form video and reels
  • Behind-the-scenes content
  • Job and project coverage
  • Drone footage
  • Photography
  • Team and personality-led content
  • Educational and technical content
  • Case studies and success stories
  • LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook content
  • Helping us find new and interesting ways to tell the MOVER™ story

You’ll also help plan content calendars, write captions, edit footage, publish content, manage our social media channels and keep an eye on what is performing.

The wider GOBIG Group

While MOVER™ will be a major focus of the role, you’ll also be creating content across the wider GOBIG Group of companies, including:

  • GOBIG Site Services
  • GOBIG Containers
  • PROHIRE

That means plenty of variety, from machinery and site operations through to containers, hire products, customer projects, team content and everything happening across the wider group.

Content will often be captured once and then adapted intelligently for the different brands and audiences.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need to come from a huge agency or have a ridiculously polished CV.

We’re much more interested in someone creative, proactive and commercially switched on who understands what makes good social content and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong short-form video and content creation skills
  • Good photography and visual storytelling instincts
  • Video editing experience
  • A good eye for branding and consistency
  • Confidence writing clear, natural social copy
  • Experience managing social accounts and content calendars
  • An understanding of analytics and what makes content perform
  • Proficiency with AI tools to support content creation, planning and workflow
  • The confidence to work independently and bring ideas to the table

Experience creating content within construction, logistics, industrial, automotive, machinery or B2B environments would be a big advantage, but it isn’t essential.

The practical bits

A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential, as you’ll need to travel to jobs and locations to capture content.

Your own content creation kit is also essential.

Having your own drone and being confident capturing high-quality drone footage would be a major plus.

This is contract work on a monthly retained basis rather than a salaried employed role.

The role will be hybrid and Midlands based, combining working from home with regular on-site content capture and time with the team.

Show us your work

We want to see what you can actually create.

As part of your application, please include links to your website, portfolio, social media accounts or examples of content you have created or managed.

Personal projects are absolutely fine too. We’re interested in your eye, your ideas and how you approach content.

Applications without links or examples of previous work will not be considered.

Most importantly

We want someone who sees an interesting job happening and immediately starts thinking:

“How can we turn this into great content?”

Someone who brings ideas, has a good eye, enjoys being around people and isn’t afraid to get boots on, get out on site and capture what’s actually happening.

There’s a huge amount going on across MOVER™ and the wider GOBIG Group, and plenty of freedom for the right person to put their own creative stamp on it.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
