Job Description
We’re looking for a Social Media Channel Specialist to help shape and grow Canon’s creator and influencer presence across Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity to put creators at the heart of how Canon connects with the next generation. You’ll build relationships with inspiring creators and digital storytellers, bring fresh ideas to life across social channels and tap into emerging trends to create content that feels relevant, authentic and engaging.
From developing creator partnerships and shaping TikTok content to spotting cultural moments and driving social commerce, you’ll play a key role in growing Canon’s reach, strengthening brand preference and turning creator influence into meaningful commercial impact.
This is a creator partnership role rather than a hands-on content creation position – you’ll focus on building, owning and managing relationships with content creators, bringing impactful partnerships to life across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow Canon’s creator community, identifying and developing relationships with creators, influencers and digital storytellers who can authentically bring the brand and its products to new and younger audiences.
- Bring creator partnerships to life from end to end, overseeing collaborations, product gifting and kit loans while finding exciting opportunities to embed Canon within creator content and conversations.
- Shape engaging, creator-first social content, commissioning UGC for Canon EMEA’s TikTok channel, collaborating with creators and internal teams, and building a central bank of high-quality creator assets that can be used across European markets.
- Stay ahead of culture and social trends, spotting emerging conversations and opportunities and turning them into timely, reactive content that drives engagement and keeps Canon relevant within the creator community.
- Turn creator influence into measurable commercial impact, working closely with the Affiliates team to develop social commerce opportunities, grow brand preference and demonstrate the reach, engagement, sales and ROI generated through creator partnerships.
- Lead Canon’s influencer agency and creator tools, managing agency performance, scope and budget while identifying and implementing tools that help teams across EMEA work with creators more effectively.
- Work across an exciting mix of teams and markets, partnering with Social, Brand, Corporate Communications, Product Marketing, Legal, Digital and Analytics teams, while supporting local Canon teams to activate creator partnerships and maximise content opportunities.
- Own budgets, governance and performance, ensuring creator activity is commercially effective, compliant and well managed, with clear reporting and continuous optimisation based on platform trends, audience behaviour and campaign results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
