Company Description

Montessori Apprentice Academy (MAA) is an Ofsted-rated good training provider and the only organization in the UK to offer apprenticeships combined with the Montessori Diploma. MAA focuses on supporting individuals who are passionate about helping children succeed and who want to train to a high standard in early years education. The academy has a strong track record of delivering successful, largely government-funded EYE/EYP apprenticeships along with Montessori CPD-accredited courses and workshops. Training is delivered nationwide by award-winning, highly qualified, and engaging experts who are committed to professional development in Montessori and early years practice.

Role Description

The Social Media Content Creator will develop and publish engaging content across social platforms to promote MAA’s apprenticeships, Montessori diploma programs, and CPD courses. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves collaborating with trainers and operations staff to highlight learner success stories, upcoming workshops, and key updates, while maintaining a professional and inclusive online presence. This is a contract position and a hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site collaboration and remote work from home.

Qualifications

  • Ability to create clear, engaging social media copy and visual content, including short-form posts, captions, basic graphics, and video snippets.
  • Experience managing social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and using scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles, including audience targeting, brand awareness, and performance tracking.
  • Strong organization and planning skills to maintain content calendars and meet deadlines across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated interest in education, early years, or Montessori approaches, with sensitivity to child-centered values and professional ethics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid setting in the London Area, United Kingdom, including collaborating in person and remotely.
  • Prior experience in social media, content creation, marketing, or communications; relevant qualification or coursework is an advantage.
