Bridged CIC: Content Creator for Instagram

Bridged CIC is a non-profit wellness organisation creating spaces for Black and Brown women to heal, grow and connect. We're looking for a content creator to build Instagram reels and carousels, telling the story of our mission and events, and helping us grow our audience.

What difference will you make?

Our Instagram @BridgedSpace is often the first place someone meets Bridged, before they ever come to an event.

With your help, we can build an Instagram presence with more range, not just what's on next, but who we are, what we believe, and the community we're building. That broader story means more people discovering Bridged and understanding what we're about. It also means we can show funders, partners and practitioners the depth of what we do.

Your support would let our story reach further, help us grow a community that already believes in this work, and free up capacity for the parts of Bridged that can't be delegated.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in content creation for Instagram, ideally with some experience planning or editing reels and carousels, though we're just as interested in someone with a strong eye and the right sensibility as we are in years of formal experience.

Most important is an understanding of storytelling that goes beyond promotion. An interest in wellness, community organising, or culturally rooted spaces for Black and Brown women would help you connect with what we're trying to say.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Practically, it would help to have:

  • Experience creating short-form video content, particularly reels, including basic editing
  • An eye for carousel design and visual storytelling
  • Comfort working from raw event photos and video rather than polished assets
  • Good judgement on tone, since our voice is warm and grounded rather than corporate or trend-chasing, so we're looking for someone who can read a room, not just follow a template

We're a small, founder-led team, so someone self-directed who's comfortable proposing ideas rather than waiting to be briefed on every detail would be a great fit. Above all, we're looking for someone who cares about representation and wants to help more people see themselves in what we do.

What will you be doing?

We're looking for a content creator to help us tell Bridged's story on Instagram, through reels and carousels that bring our events, our mission and our community to life.

Bridged is a non-profit creating wellness, creative and community events for Black and Brown women across London. We run our programming through partner venues rather than one fixed space, which means there's always something happening to capture workshops, gatherings, cultural conversations and moments of real connection between the women who come to them.

We already know the different threads we want our content to cover: wellness, community, the thinking behind our work, and the ongoing story of how Bridged is growing. Recently our Instagram has leaned heavily on event promotion, and we'd like to broaden that out, so our page reflects the full breadth of who we are, not just what's coming up next.

You'll take the lead on:

  • Planning and creating Instagram reels and carousels that move beyond event promotion into storytelling, behind-the-scenes moments and the ideas behind our work
  • Working from event photos, video and our existing brand guidelines to build content across our different themes
  • Editing footage and photos from our events into short-form video
  • Suggesting formats and ideas that suit Instagram's current trends while staying true to our tone, which is warm, grounded and community-first rather than polished or corporate
  • Working with Camille, Bridged's co-founder, on a simple content plan that balances promotion with the rest of our story

We're a small, founder-led organisation, so this is a hands-on role with real creative input, not one small piece of a big machine. We'd expect a few hours a month, with more around key events, and we're flexible on how that time is structured.
