Bennu - Creative Social Media Content Creator
Bennu, a registered charity specialising in arts therapy, is seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator. You will craft engaging storytelling to promote our mission across education, arts, and sport, raising awareness about positive mental health, wellbeing, and self-care.

How This Role Will Help Our Organisation
- Bridging the Gap: You will help translate our researcher's insights into easy-to-digest content, ensuring our posts demonstrate the vital importance of wellbeing and the significance of positive mental health and self-care for children and young people.
- Creating a Safe Digital Space: By cultivating a supportive online environment, you ensure our message reaches those working in mental health, with the aim that children and young people feel heard, seen, and understood.
- Amplifying Our Mission: Your creativity helps us share the power of arts therapy with schools, performing arts, and sport sectors. You help us connect with a wider audience, including the families and communities we serve.

What are we looking for?
The Youth-First Mindset
An understanding of how to communicate with children and young people from diverse cultures in a way that is authentic, and shows that you care and understand.
The Analytical Approach
A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, with the ability to look at metrics and data to see what works and adjust the content strategy accordingly.
Communication
At least 3 years of experience in creative content, with strong skills in writing clear, relatable, and on-brand messages for different audiences (from children and young people to professionals).

What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop thumb-stopping posts, graphics, and short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) for Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
- Research Translation: Work with our researcher to turn clinical/wellbeing insights into easy-to-digest content for a youth audience.
- Strategy & Planning: Assist the CEO in maintaining a content calendar that aligns with key awareness days and Bennu initiatives.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social trends in the arts, sport, and mental health sectors.
- Community Connection: Build and maintain a safe, positive online space by engaging with our followers and responding to comments.
- Analytics: Report on what’s working (and what isn’t) to help us grow our impact.
