About Us
SheaWorks is a fast-growing, family-run electrical and building services contractor working with some of the UK's leading property, managing agent, and commercial organisations.
We are looking for a confident, creative, and outgoing Social Media & Content Creator to join our team full-time.
We don't want corporate, boring social media.
We want someone who can capture the real personality behind SheaWorks - our engineers, our office team, the jobs we attend, the chaos, the laughs, and everything that happens in between.
You'll need to be confident both behind AND in front of the camera, full of ideas, and happy to get involved.
One day you could be creating funny, relatable content with the office team; the next you could be heading into London to meet one of our engineers on site and film a day in their life.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of SheaWorks' social media presence and create regular, engaging content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Your Role Will Include
- Planning, filming, editing, and posting social media content
- Regularly appearing in content yourself
- Creating funny and relatable office content with the SheaWorks team
- Travelling to jobs and meeting our engineers on site to capture real-life content
- Filming project transformations, behind-the-scenes footage, and completed works
- Creating "day in the life" content with our engineers
- Coming up with challenges, trends, interviews, and entertaining video ideas
- Creating educational content and simple electrical/property tips
- Interviewing engineers and team members on camera
- Keeping up with TikTok, Instagram, and social media trends and adapting them for SheaWorks
- Producing Reels, TikToks, Stories, photographs, and other short-form content
- Editing videos ready for posting
- Writing captions and scheduling posts
- Responding to comments and helping grow our online community
- Creating more professional content for LinkedIn alongside our fun social content
- Capturing company milestones, new starters, apprentices, training, team events, and achievements
- Helping build the personalities of our engineers and office team online
- Tracking what performs well and creating more of the content our audience actually engages with

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll Ideally Be Someone Who
- Is naturally confident and not camera shy
- Has a good sense of humour
- Is comfortable approaching people and getting them involved
- Understands what makes TikTok and Instagram content entertaining
- Can spot content opportunities without constantly needing to be told what to film
- Is creative and constantly thinking of new ideas
- Can film and edit short-form video to a high standard
- Is organised enough to maintain a consistent content schedule
- Is comfortable working in a busy office environment
- Is happy travelling to sites across London, Essex, and surrounding areas
- Can switch between funny, informal content and polished professional content when needed
- Understands that sometimes the best-performing content isn't perfectly polished - it's real, relatable, and entertaining
Experience using platforms or software such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe, TikTok, and Instagram would be beneficial.
Experience within construction or electrical services is not essential - we'll teach you that.
We'd much rather find someone with the right personality, creativity, and understanding of social media.
