ABOUT TRAFALGAR TICKETS

Trafalgar Tickets was created in 2021 with the primary objective of creating a consumer ticketing brand for our venues. We welcome 2 million patrons to our regional venues annually, offering a varied program of world-class live entertainment. Trafalgar Tickets will become the leading ticketing service in its class with customer centricity at its heart whilst creating unique value propositions for our clients and partners. The ticketing division also includes London’s premier ticket agency: London Theatre Direct. With over 20 years of leading the market in innovation and creativity, we serve 2 million customers annually through our best-in-market technology solutions and unrivalled inventory access.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Trafalgar Tickets is seeking a dynamic Social Media & Content Executive to execute the social media strategy Trafalgar Tickets and all our venue ticketing assets. The role will join us at a pivotal phase of transformation, involving the creation and delivery of the digital content strategy. The Social Media & Content Executive reports to our Deputy Content Manager (Venues) and will work on social media content for our UK venues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creation of written and visual content for social media channels, supporting our UK venues by adopting their identity and ensuring it resonates with local audiences.
  • Schedule organic content in line with the strategy for UK theatres and ticket agent brands, which will be across various channels, including social media and self-hosted content.
  • Execution of the content calendar to deliver effective and data-driven organic content to support our brands, products and producing partners.
  • Build, nurture and engage a loyal group of customers for your allocated venues, by initiating discussions, building relationships and conducting other community management activities that turn customers into brand advocates through all social channels.
  • Collate data from social media platforms to produce reports and highlight trends.
  • The creation and manipulation of digital assets, including images, video, animation and audio.
  • Contribute ideas to ideation sessions with the Senior Media & Content Executives, to help shape content.
  • Support the Senior Social Media & Content Executives by liaising with wider marketing teams to gather requirements for content, as required.
  • Visit allocated venues at least once every two months to capture content, attend press/launch events, and attend all panto-related opportunities.
  • Always acting in accordance with Trafalgar Entertainment’s values and ethics.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have at least 6 months’ experience creating brilliant content across a number of social media platforms, with a focus on Meta including Facebook and Instagram.
  • You have excellent copywriting skills (short and long form) and written English.
  • You have meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement.
  • You are proficient with design and any relevant design software.
  • You have experience in creating and editing short-form video content for various channels.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team and across multiple departments.
  • You have a fundamental understanding of managing social media channels and content optimisation strategies.
