Social Media & Content Manager

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: London

Reporting to: Founder, Jill Paton

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, commercially minded and highly organised Social Media & Content Manager to own our social media presence and content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically and execute independently — growing our audience, strengthening our brand, and managing campaigns end to end. You'll manage our annual paid social budget, coordinate content shoots, work with videographers and photographers, and build relationships with influencers and creators.

This is a chance to genuinely own the social and content function of a growing business, with direct impact on brand awareness and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Own the social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp
  • Manage and grow two LinkedIn pages (main business + showcase)
  • Build channel-specific content strategies and monthly/annual content calendars
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content; manage community engagement and messages
  • Grow our WhatsApp community with engaging, community-led content
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity; continually test and refine our approach

Content Creation & Production

  • Own content creation end to end — concept through to publication
  • Develop creative concepts for video, photography, graphics, and social-first campaigns
  • Organise and coordinate content shoots; brief and manage videographers, photographers, and freelancers
  • Manage shoot logistics, timelines, deliverables, and budgets; attend shoots where required
  • Spot emerging trends and turn them into relevant, on-brand content
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across channels

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We want someone who builds and grows our social presence, not just manages a posting schedule.

  • Genuine ownership of the social and content function
  • Significant creative freedom and responsibility
  • Direct access to senior leadership
  • The chance to build and shape a growing brand's social presence
  • A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
